Twenty-sixth Sunday of Ordinary Time Hymn: 708 We give Thee But Thine Own Call to worship: Leader: The earth is the Lord’s and all that is in it, All: the world, and those who live in it; Leader: We are the Lord’s an all that we have All: our time, our talents, our treasures Opening prayer of confession Almighty God, you love us, but we have not loved you. You call, but we have not listened. We walk away from neighbors in need, wrapped in our own concerns. We condone evil, prejudice, warfare, and greed. God of grace, help us to admit our sin, so that as you come to us in mercy, we may repent, turn to you, and receive forgiveness; through Jesus Christ our Redeemer. Amen. Assurance of Pardon: Know that our great God of every blessing has indeed forgiven us and be at peace. Thanks be to God!
