OPWs elinor and jean scholarships
Orange Presbyterian Church Weekday School offers scholarships for our weekday school. It is our hope and wish that children can be involved in our preschool even when finances might make it seem forbidding. Elinor Vasquez and Jean Berckman were the founders of OPWS 40 years ago, and part of the monies for this scholarship have been set aside by the Vasquez family. We honor their great tradition of love for all God’s children, in establishing this scholarship.
Scholarships are awarded on the basis of need and availability of funds, with a review at each semester break.
The scholarship committee consists of OPWS board members only. The members, however, will not be employed by the preschool, nor will the team include any preschool parents. The church session may request a review of the committee decisions and those reviewed decisions will be final.
