Because God is a global God, we too need to be a global people.

So thinking globally is the first step in carrying out our mission in modeling Christ in all that we are and all that we do.

The second step is to act locally. None of us can do everything. But all of us can do something.
 - Denny Burnette

This period of dispiritedness,
this period of sadness,
this period of grief
is a time we are meant to move through.

Jesus will tell us how to get through that longest night.

In Jesus there is life.
In Jesus there is abundant life.
In Jesus there is eternal life.

 - Pat Nabers

Psalm 30:5; Psalm 56:7-8; John 21:4-7, 9, 12

God says, "I will remember their sin no more."

That's pretty good advice for us.

How many of us live our whole lives nursing that grudge, nursing our childhood hurts?

God chooses to offer forgiveness
God chooses to forget.
God chooses reconciliation.

 - Pat Nabers

Scripture Readings:
Jeremiah 31:31-34
John 8:31-36

It sounds like we had better be hanging out with the Spirit. And we had better be getting in touch with the Spirit. The Spirit will guide us into all truth. The truth among the many truths. The truth of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Three, yet one God, now and forever.

 - Pat Nabers

Scripture Readings:
Prov 8:1-4, 22-31
John 16:12-15
