Mission & Outreach Committee

Our Mission & Outreach Committee has the responsibility for leading the church and its members in witness and service for Christ in the community beyond our own church membership, locally and throughout the world. (Committee Responsibilities)

Sheltering Arms Ministry

Early this summer we had a kitchen shower for Sheltering Arms to update them with needed equipment and supplies. They were especially grateful to get a dishwasher to replace the antiquated method of doing dishes. Elizabeth Szumyogh sewed and put up new curtains in the dining area. We have been taking the evening meal to them on the second Thursday of each month. The Shepherd groups will continue this service through the end of the year.

Health Kits to be collected
in September

In September we will again collect health kits which will be sent to 3rd world countries. Last year we had an excellent response to this simple and meaningful act of generosity. We hope you will want to participate again. Directions and the list of items to be included will be available in the Narthex in August.
