We Believe CirrrculumFor the 2007 Church School year the classes are using the following curriculum:

4 yr. old – 5th grade: We Believe (PCUSA). The winter quarter introduces students to the belief that God became human and lived with us. Until Christmas we will explore the way the incarnation took place. Who were the people involved? How did they respond to God’s surprises for their lives?

Making a bowl.6th – 12th grade: Youth Specialties and Empty Bowls Project

Leland Lord: What We Believe: Eight Truths Presbyterians Affirm - For both newcomers and long-timers: What do we believe and how do our beliefs and practices make us distinctive as Christians? Look at Bible, theology and organization/government. We are exploring the basics of the Christian faith based on the scriptures of the Old and New Testaments and the tradition known as Reformed. It is for people who do not know the story of the Bible and are just beginning, as well as for those who need a refresher course

Adult class: Present Word (PCUSA)  - The Present Word curriculum seeks to facilitate mastery of Bible content, understanding of the Bible in relation to life experiences, and a greater awareness of God’s self-disclosure, especially God’s redeeming love as revealed in Jesus Christ.

A Vacation Bible School is held every summer.

More than 60 children, youth, and adults were involved in a high-flying week during our 2007 Bible School week. See what we did!
